    SDI Advanced Open Water Dive

    The SDI Advanced Open Water Diver is the second level in the SDI Continuing Education system.  This rating is a combination of 25 logged dives (dives during the specialty training count) and certification in four specialties.  Click on the individual SDI specialties for details on each individual course. The training usually consists of one classroom session and a minimum of eight open water dives.  The amount of classroom time or number of dives may change depending on the specialties chosen.
