    If you’ve ever been diving off a boat, you’ve probably seen divers pop up almost over the horizon then surface swim back to the boat. Surface swimming is no fun and is completely unnecessary.  This course teaches you to use a compass in conjunction with natural features to track where you are in relation to your start point.  With some practice, you’ll be able to plan your dive so that you finish the dive exactly where you started.  Why?  Because surface swimming stinks.
