    Dive Control Specialist

    The SSI Dive Control Specialist is SSI’s first level of certification of dive professionals. The SSI Dive Control Specialist program is designed to train you to become a diving leader.  During the course, you will learn in-depth physics as it applies to diving and enhance your leadershp and rescue skills.  In addition, you will learn to assist instructors and lead certified divers under water. As a DiveCon, you will be able to conduct snorkeling classes and Scuba Skills Update courses.  A current CPR/First Aid certification is required to complete this course (DOA offers First aid/CPR certification).
